D33 Awards Dinner

Congratulations to RLL's Mike Williams on being given the "Joe Schloss Memorial Coaches Award" by District 33 for his dedication to coaching and being a positive role model for our league and our kids! Mike is a professor at USD and coach of the Majors Division Red Sox and is well deserving of this award. Congrats Coach Mike!

The Rolando Little League board of directors was well represented at the awards banquet and had a great time making memories.

2019 Board Members Wanted

2019 RLL Board Members Wanted!

Rolando Little League is looking for new board members to fill important roles for the 2019 Little League season. Rolando Little League is a 100% volunteer organization and we rely on a lot of people to make this a wonderful experience for our players and the community.

We need board members from the T-Ball, Rookies, Caps, and Minors divisions to carry on the tradition of Little League baseball in the Rolando community. We serve over 200 children each year, and this cannot be accomplished by just a few people. The Board of Directors works together to ensure we have a well-organized and well-run program. We are not just here to teach baseball fundamentals; we are here to raise young adults to be team players and good sportsmen, have fun, make friends for life, and experience a sense of community. This requires volunteers who want to make a difference and lead by example, showing the children that baseball is also about community. Your contributions and talents are greatly needed and the satisfaction you receive in return cannot be measured.

No experience is necessary to join. If you have an interest in joining or learning more about open board positions, please send an email to the board at contact@RolandoLittleLeague.org - we would love to talk to you about the opportunity!

Hurricane Harvey Equipment Drive

In collaboration with area leagues and families, we are holding a baseball and softball equipment drive to help rebuild youth programs in some of the hardest hit areas of Hurricane Harvey in Texas.

We are coordinating with Texas' Rockport Fulton Little League to assist with equipment distribution to the families in need.

Fields, concession stands, press boxes, and equipment are rendered unusable or destroyed. It is our aim to help meet a small portion of the vast rebuilding of all aspects of life ahead in Texas. And with your help, we can put baseball and softball back into the hands of children who have lost everything.

Please see the flyer and consider donating!
