Join Our Umpire Crew!

As we get ready for another exciting Rolando Little League season, we’re looking to grow our volunteer umpire crew - and we’d love for your family to be part of it!

Umpires play a critical role in every game. Without umpires, games simply can’t happen. By volunteering to umpire, you are directly supporting our players, coaches, and teams while helping create a positive, fair, and fun baseball experience for everyone

Who can umpire?

Adult volunteers (no prior experience required)

Junior umpires, including
Players from our upper divisions who want to umpire lower-division games
Older siblings and teenagers interested in supporting the league
Youth looking to earn volunteer or community service hours

Junior umpiring is a great opportunity for teens to give back, build confidence, develop leadership and communication skills, and gain a deeper understanding of the game - all while serving as positive role models for younger players.

No prior experience is required - new umpires are absolutely welcome, and experienced umpires are encouraged to join as well.

To kick off the season, we are hosting an Umpire Clinic for both new and returning umpires

Location: Rolando Lower Field
Date: Saturday, January 17, 2026
Time: 9am-noon

The clinic will cover rules, mechanics, game management, and what to expect on the field, with time for questions and hands-on learning.
