I am Chris Bartel, your new League President. I consider myself little more than a caretaker of this great organization and I hope to leave it in an even better place than I found it. I appreciate all the great volunteer work from the boards that preceded us and hope to carry on that tradition of dedication to the Rolando community. I have been with Rolando since the Spring of 2018 as a baseball coach for my son Philip’s teams. His older brother Dominic also played at Rolando in 2014, 15, and 18. I started coaching for my eldest, Jacob, at West Hills Little League (Santee) in 2009. Baseball runs very deep in my blood and now the connection to Rolando runs deep as well. It is a privilege to be a small part of what we have here. I hope you all join us in keeping Rolando the best youth sports organization around.

I'm blessed to be a part of Rolando Little League. I have been coaching my two sons here for the past 6 years with so many memories. I believe Rolando is a great place for your child to learn the game and have Fun and get knowledgeable teaching from our coaching staff. Looking forward to a Great 2023 Spring Season!

Our family is going on its third season at Rolando Little League, and this is a place where we enjoy spending our time. My son started playing when he was 6, and our daughter just played her first season of fall ball. My husband manages our son's team, and I am also the team parent. Baseball is our favorite pastime! My goal is to provide the families and children with a safe and fun baseball experience! |

I have three sons in RLL presently (stretching from majors to tball) meaning my wife and I have been connected to RLL for many years already, and have many years ahead. We, and especially our boys, have really enjoyed every season we have been a part of, and we feel very fortunate to have this league in our neighborhood. As a board member, I look forward to working with my fellow members - as well as any other volunteers - to try and make this league the best it can be for all of our kids.

As a mother, grandmother and teacher I value a positive community and understand the work it takes to support that community. I want to support this community by helping get the enormous amount of work done so all families can have a great baseball experience.

My name is Jennifer Cux Chan. My son Matteo (7) plays and his sister Philomena (2) is already starting to learn as well. Our family loves baseball. We are diehard Yankees fans. We have been with Rolando Little league since Tball and have loved our time here. I am very excited to be a part of the board and help be a part of this growing community and to help build future generations of baseball players I have a lot of knowledge of the game of baseball I have played pretty much my whole life and grew up on the field with my dad playing every weekend. Any vacation we took was to somewhere he was playing. Hope to make this season and each after the best one ever! |

I have been involved in baseball for 40 years, from Little League and Travel Ball to High School and Junior College. I've played, coached, and umpired this game that I love. My wife (Amy) and I have been married for 16 years and lived in La Mesa for 13 of that. Our son (Oliver) is 6 years old and plays in Rolando LL (this year at the Rookies level). I look forward to working with each and every one of you to ensure that you and your children have the best possible experience! |

| Andy AndersonLower Division Player Agent [email protected]
Hello! My name is Andy Anderson and I am the Lower Division Player Agent for Rolando Little League (RLL). This is my first year serving on the board and I am looking forward to a great season! My wife Jessica and I are both educators (she is a high school teacher and I am a community college counselor) and we have lived in the Rolando community for 10 years. We have three children (ages 14, 12, and 8) who all attend neighborhood schools and our two youngest have been playing in RLL since t-ball, beginning in 2015. Our family has thoroughly enjoyed our time in RLL and we have made many great memories and friendships along the way. I look forward to the years ahead and what is to come for RLL!

Our family has been a part of the league for about three years. Hudson (8) and Scout (5) both play for the league. We live in the community and absolutely love our RLL Baseball family. Not only has the league provided such a fantastic experience for our kids, but for the whole family. I look forward to hopefully helping to make everyone’s experience as great as ours has been!

I grew up right here in The Rolando neighborhood. Some of my best childhood memories were right here on this very field. My wish is that every child at Rolando Little League is able to make great memories and lifelong friends like I was able to. |
